Tim Burton is directing a live action version of Alice in Wonderland! Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Alan Rickman as the Caterpiller, Christopher Lee as the Jabberwock, and, introducing, Mia Wasikowska as Alice. Alice in Wonderland will be in theaters March 5, 2010!

FRANKENWEENIE

It is rumored that Tim Burton will be making a feature length version of his short film "Frankenweenie." I'm not sure of the credibility of this information, but if its true the feature length Frankenweenie will be in theaters in 2011.

Tim Burton has produced a film called 9. A film about 9 "rag doll" like creatures who have survived the end of the human race and are left to fend for themselves on our planet. 9 is directed by Shane Acker and stars Elijah Wood as 9, Fred Tatasciore as 8, Jennifer Connelly as 7, Crispin Glover as 6, John C. Reilly as 5, Martin Landau as 2, and Christopher Plummer as 1. 9 can be seen in theaters September 9, 2009.

A NAME FOR BABY!

It has been announced that Tim and Helena's daughter is named Nell Burton!

GOLDEN GLOBES

Tim Burton was nominated for Best Director of Musical or Comedy, but sadly he lost to Julian Schnabel (whom I've never heard of...). Oh well, the nomination was great! :)
Johnny Depp was nominated for Best Actor of Musical or Comedy and he won!
Helena Bonham Carter was nominated for Best Actress of Musical or Comedy but sadly she lost to Marion Cotillard. (and I've never heard of her either.) Without a biased or anything, I have to say that I think that Helena Bonham Carter deserved to win this one. I also think that Tim Burton should have won for Best Director too. I'm very glad they got the nomination though :)

IT'S A GIRL!

Congrats to Tim and Helena on their baby girl! She was born on December 15th. Nothing else has been released about her yet. I'll update when I find out!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

BABY!
