it states that he was born in 1960.
When Tim was a kid growing up in Burbank, He staged an axe murder with his brother
to scare the neighbors, prompting them to call the police.
When Tim was in highschool - 9th grade - his artistic talent
was recognized by a local garbage company. He won a prize for a poster he had created about anti-litter. The garbage company
kept his design on their trucks for a year.
Tim Burton played water polo and swam for Burbank Highschool.

this is a referrence to a stop-animation artist, Ray Harryhausen, whom Tim Burton admires.
Tim Burton got to meet his
long time icon Ray Harryhausen during the filming of Corpse Bride. First, he, Helena and Johnny Depp went to Harryhausen's
house, then later, Harryhausen visited Tim on the set.
